Can I reuse last year’s soil?

I’ve been getting new soil every year ….I tried reusing it once, mixing it with nutrients & it didn’t work well at all….
but, getting new soil yearly is making for a big pile of it. I really don’t like to waste things, so been meaning to ask….

Can I reuse last year’s? & if so, what can I do with it to make it work well?

Sure can. Easiest would be to amend with buildasoil craft blend or something similar.

re-use it, i re-use mine every year, just remember to re amend it with something.....

I always add back NPK and some castings at minimum. Soil is a major expense, probably my largest, so I reuse it.

If you’re using synthetic fertilizers, it probably wouldn’t be a terrible idea to give it a good flush first and then re-amend it. Salts can build up and cause issues.
