I bought this seed from a seed bank in Amsterdam and it did nicely until about a week or two in the rock wool. I think I overwatered and had too much nute in my watering solution at first and it may have gotten trapped in the rock wool. After seeing my other plant, planted at the same time with the same basic schedule, take off, I started to wonder about the unhealthy one.
I then did a flush with 0 ppm water and split open the rock wool carefully to see what kind of root growth had started. There was almost none, so I took it out of the rock wool with whatever little stumpy roots were started, dipped it in some rooting powder, and transplanted it to another fresh rockwool cube that had been soaking in a mild solution of voodoo juice and water over night.
There are small amounts of green still, but there has basically been no improvement since I did the transplant. I'm hoping some wise grower can tell me if this plant is savable or if it is a lost cause.
Oh, one more weird thing...I think the plant went into flowering somehow during it's 1 month existence. There are little tiny pistols and what looks like tiny buds forming on some of the nodes. Is this possible ?!! You can see it in one of the pics below. Maybe it's a bad seed...
The picture in the red cup is what it looks like this morning.
