Can i smoke crumble in a joint?

I bought a dab rig but couldn't get it to get a big rip out of it. I've been manually mixing it in with ground up bud and packing it in a cone or bong bowl. Harsh smoke but it seems to get me high. Has a very strange "deja vu" effect.

Is it a waste to smoke crumble that way? I bought the smallest torch the smoke shop had and I don't have a cap for the nail so I'm not sure if I can get the dab rig I bought to work.

Yes you can just put some in a paper role so it from end to end then put you weed in I do this all the time. Love letting people hit it that don’t smoke dab they get baked
