can i use natural creek/pond water for indoor grow?

there is a fairly fresh/clear running creek and some ponds around where i live. they have neutral ph levels. is it ok to use these water sources for an indoor grow?

I use the river water from my property as a soak when I cle3an out my system and have no problems. I am thinking that the fish and other life in the waters can only help.

Using "real" water is better than using distilled or bottled water. It carries many of the micronutrients your plant needs. Rain water works well also.
