Good find Mike. In Cali, the Supreme Court ruled in Jan 2010 that there can be no limit placed on the number of plants that a patient can grow. That being said, I have spoken to numerous local LEO and they are applying an unwritten 99 plant cap. If you have a valid rec and fewer than 99 plants, they may keep an eye on you and make sure you are not operating outside of the law, but they won't pop you for plant count. This will vary by location of course, so I suggest checking with your local LEO. I'm in the Central San Joaquin valley and my locals will allow me and 5 patients to each grow up to 99 plants each.

And yes, that would total 594 plants in one collective. Will I ever handle that many? Nah. I'll stay below 590! ;)

Here in San Diego any doctor that can give the rec can give the 99 plant rec, you just have to pay the $$. It varies from $200 to over $300 depending on the doctor and most call it a cultivators permit or license. Basically it allows you to grow 99 plants for your own use, not to sell, that is a whole 'nother can of worms as they say

Peace out:weed:

Just make your search better. And there are several clinics that help those like you facing problems in getting card. :wall:

You have to know before that Collectives are well advised to stay at 99 plants or less to reduce the risk of federal prosecution. Beware that cultivation of 100 plants or more is punishable by a federal mandatory minimum sentence of 5 years. Thats why, collectives are advised to exercise caution about growing very large gardens. Even if local guidelines permit it, don't assume that you can safely grow 600 plants just because you have 100 patients.
