Can someone tell me what causes these rust brown spots on the leaf? here are some pics but one of them show the rust spots on the leaf. Overall do you think the plant looks fine? or does it need more nutes? also do you think its fine to clone?

the new growth looks a little yellow and the leaves are drooping a bit
the brown spots on the leaves is not a good sign
but whatever it is you have time to fix it
what is your watering schedule?
lighting details are needed
kind of soil and nutes
pH readings if you have them

i water everytime the soil dries out and i feed every watering with iguana juice grow 2ml per liter and the soil is biobizz all mix and then i transplanted it into a soilless mix with lots of perlite in it. I use t5 flourecent lights around 250watts 18/6. the yellowing might be from over watering. do you want to know the soil ph or the run off or is it the same? but ill get the ph when i can.

the problem is the rust spots on the leaf and i have no bugs, its winter time. I am positive i have no bugs. I think it could either be magnesium defeciency or something else, i am trying to see if anyone else has this happed to their leaves. I am also thinking of buying micro blast by earth juice and see if the problem goes away.

i have a 10 gallon water jug with two air stones in it oxygenating the water and getting rid of the chlorine.

lower leaves yellowing could definately be a N def, BUT those rust spots might be another def or nute lock out in general(over fert or PH lock out). Which leads me to believe you need to check your PH asap, watering water and runoff. Plus if you have an EC/TDS meter measure the EC/TDS of the runoff water and post that also. I do beleive the leaves curling down like that are low PH/over fertilizing. Alot of times they go hand in hand, since alot of nutes lower the PH. And too much will drag down the PH.

I think feeding everytime you water is too much and might have created some salt build up.

If you don't have access to any meters give it a good flush with medium strength nute solution and that should replace the old nutes and replenish the medium.
observe until next watering, see how she reacts.. add more if nutes if she's still yellowy but watch for those spots again.
I've had it before where I was watering with 6.8 but the runoff was coming out at like 5.6-5.7 which means my PH was lower then 5.6 probly 5.0 maybe in the 4's
I had to flush and water with 8.5 PH a couple times to get it up. and I still had to fight with it till harvest. mind you they turned out nice anyway but I missed out of some potential.

I forgot to mention i took these pictures before the lights were going to shut off so the plant was in sleeping mode thats why the leaves look droopy but when the lights turn back on they perk up nicely. I do have a blue lab meter but i am waiting until the soil dries out until i water again, the soil is still moist so i don't want to over water.

What should the ph of the run off be? Is the runoff telling me the ph of the soil?

I also have this cheap PH analyzer that you stick it into the soil but i am not sure how accurate they can be, i am getting a reading of 6.2-6.0 when i stick it into the soil.

The Water in my 10 gallon jug reads a ph of 7.7

I also heard that when using organic nutrients you can feed every watering. I have Iguana juice grow for veg(using it atm) and then i am going to use Biobizz grow and bloom for flowering and i also have epsom salts, cal-mag, AN-big bud, biobizz fish-mix, biobizz alg-a-mic, biobizz root juice and biobizz top max. I also use Biobizz all-mix and then i transplant into Sunshine Mix #4(soilless growing medium http://www.altgarden.com/store/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=370)

I don't listen to rap but thanks Ice...

The plant is GrandDaddy purple CheechD. Thats what i thought it was, mag def. How long did it take until it recovered from the mag def? Did your leaves seem lighter in color like mine? i think i didnt give it enough nutes, thats why the plant seems lighter in color and has a deficiency.
