Can spider mites live and breed in cold temps?

Hello and happy new year! I noticed some spider mites on my plants week 2 of flower. Sprayed them and they remained at bay for the entire grow.

I've since harvested and now have an empty grow room. I'm planning on wiping the room down with bleach and water BUT, I wanted to know......

if I leave the window open in the grow room for a few days, to where the grow room gets down to 35 degrees at night, will that kill any spider mites and their eggs that might be in the room or will the super cold temps have no effect on the mites whatsoever? Thanks all!

I posted this in another thread.....it's what I had to do.

"In my limited experience, it seemed the eggs/larva (whatever) waited for favourable conditions to become a pest.
So, kill them using soap or whatever, repeat process as the instructions say. Then keep doing that every few weeks until it's been a couple of months since you've seen sign of bug. Finish off the grow and bleach your grow area, wash and vacuum and bleach again.

Bugs are a big part of why I switched to DWC"

in stead of leaving window open,close it an bomb the room very simple
