Can the PH in the water cause my plant's leaves to turn yellow?

I have a waterfarm setup and the new growth at the top of my plant are turning yellow and i want to know if the ph could possibly be the problem

It could. your lights maybe to close to the plants. Even if its not hot.

Sounds like a nute prob. to me>

pH being off can lock out certain nutes.(some nutes get locked out when too high other when too low) N is one of them. So, bad pH can look like a def.

Since you are hydro, whats the pH and media?

The light comment makes sense. Is the new growth curling under?
