can u veg with hps

can u veg with hps i would like to know so i can use my hps bulbs all the time cuse i want to build a cool tube but almost all the round cylinder glas i can find is 4 inch meaning my mh's wont fit

Yes you can, its all dependant on your light cycle, although the plant is more receptive to a brighter light during veg, using a HPS wont stop it ffrom growing.

You can still definitly yield pretty good with just running HPS through the whole cycle...
