i put a 250w metal halide bulb in my light and its nots working. i was using a 250w hps.
Can you put a metal halide bulb in a hydrofarm light

only if its a fixture with a switch to turn from MH to HPS! usually those have a built in ballast.. if you cant get it to work i suggest buying a multispectrum hps bulb it will work..
