Can you speed up auto's finishing? On day 85 for seeds that are 80 day

I have 3 "80 day" auto flowers going, it's day 85 and 2 are done, but 1 looks like it is lagging by 2 or so weeks. The problem is I am going out of town in 3 weeks and need time to trim/dry/put into jars before I leave so it's easy for a friend just to burp the jars. Do you guys know of any tricks out there to help speed up the flowers finishing? I am thinking about playing with the lights, increasing the dark period from 6 to 8-12 hours. However I've heard from many sources auto's are all about their age not the light cycle, but I was wondering if any of you have experience with this. Please let me know thank you!

How long are you leaving for?

No you can't speed up growth. Kinda like asking if you can speed up the growth of a child into an adult. It's nature taking it's course. Has nothing to with being an auto or photo, they finish when they are done, not a breeders estimate.

You could show them R rated movies at a young age and kick them outta the house when they are 13. That'll mature them quicker! haha I heard you could speed up photos finishing at the end by reducing their light schedule to less than 12hrs a day. Not sure if there is any studies or anything on it, but I have seen it posted multiple times from different sources

Sometimes things don't plan out right though, I completely understand. We've all had our best intentions trashed by circumstances unplanned for or beyond our control. Good luck.

It's probably all old wives tales. All BS, crap posted to make it seem like it would help. I have also thought about playing with the nutes, giving them no N at all or even no more nutes. Kinda forcing them into there, it's fall cycle.

If you don't have anyone to take care of them while you're out of town just pull them on the latest day possible. From the replies above that are chewing you out there isn't anything else that can be done.
