can you tent growers tell and show me how u vent using these board style led's please

i caved and spent the stimulus loot on a new LED. I have a gorilla shorty and will buy the extra extension to make it full size next month. i was set to run a 600 hps with hood. shit is brand new,


now. have this light. and want to know how u folks deal with venting in a 4ft. x 4ft tent. thx. for any help. TJHIS IS THE BASIC same design as the HLG 550

I'm surprised more people don't talk about how a solid rectangle of a light restricts air flow in the area it occupies.

Just hang the carbon filter up high and connect to the blower and out the top, open the lower vents for passive intakes.

You'll be glad you went with LED over HID. The heat problems and energy consumption alone is enough to switch. If you are exhausting out of your room to the outside, this should be pretty easy. Your room temp (not the tent) is going to need to be a few degrees lower than you want your tent to be. I have a mother tent that if I want it 78 in the tent, the room needs to be around 70. Don't know your region, but if you need humidity, get a small swamp cooler. Atomizer humidifiers will clog things up, like your AC filters and leave a white powdery film on everything (if you have hard water) Otherwise you can use distilled and get away with an atomizer unit.
