Can you top a plant too many times?

Messing around with some bag seed baby and i'm up to 6 toppings now, only about 36 days of veg. Still very young and obviously a bit stressed, but my goodness is she starting to look like a little shrub :') But anyway, can you top a plant too many times and end up with some negative irreversible effect (like turning hermie or something)? Or will it just cause lots and lots of tops and branching?

Too much topping can hinder the plants ability to produce nice big colas.

I would refrain from topping for a while if it looks like it is seriously stunting the growth of the plant.

Id say try sum pinching(super cropping ) i only "top" when making clones and my plants are always wider than tall

You can top as much as you want but you are trading big Colas for more smaller ones. I've done side by sides with different numbers of toppings on each plant. Over all yield was pretty much the same. Just different sized buds.

For the guy that said u get same yeild.he must have huge light that penetrates deep cause a even canopy always gives bigger yeild when using artificial lighting
