can you trim to many leaves????

i recently found spider mites . i was reading that you can trim leaves to provide light to lower half. so i trimed leave to provide the light and get rid of the pesky mites. i might have got a little overboard they just dont look as full any more. 9 days in to flowering. any suggestions. please tell me i did not screw up royally.:confused:

Do you have any pics? Because yes, it is possible to trim too many leaves. Your plant needs its leaves to collect light to convert to energy. Plus, if you cut too many leaves, your plant will end up putting more energy into replacing those leaves than producing buds.

If you're trying to get rid of you spider mites, you should handle them as soon as possible. Trust me, the bastards killed my last plants, and I'm still pissed off about it.
