Canada - Legal 4 Plants

Is anyone aware of the fact that you can actually stretch this limit if you rent?

It's deemed 4 plants to 1 dwelling, but if you pay rent and your landlord lives there then you can actually boost to 8.

I currently pay rent, as does another tenant here and the landlord is here, so our "dwelling" can hold 12 legally. I wasn't sure about this so I enquired a friendly police officer who confirmed.

Just be careful, if you don't have a good relationship and a nosy neighbour says something- you could be in quite the doo doo if they show up and said tenant says "they ain't mine" lol

Happy growing
