canna coco/ocean forest 50/50?

Well, i'm on my 6th grow now, completely different setup this time, last I came across a hot batch of ocean forest i think, because it was basically destroying my last set of girls, and I was doing everything in my power to stop it, but I ended up with good medicine, just not a high yield. So I wanted to have a tad more control. I decided to go with a 50/50 mix of canna coco & ocean forest, Is this a good idea? bad idea? and I will be using my own tea that I make for feeding.
