Canna terra professional

Good stuff. That should be really useful info for the op. :bigjoint:
Hopefully so, im in australia so we don't have many options when it comes to soil or peat based mediums unless you make your own mixes, which equals bugs and pests. Loving the coco a bit more work cause i hand water but much better growth, health and yeild.

Ive been using canna terra pro for a couple of years but have made the switch to coco/perlite. You could add a little extra perlite it couldnt hurt no need for nutrients for the first 2 to 3 weeks and yes it is a peat based medium. Don't water to runoff though as it will flush out the good stuff ph range is 5.8 to 6.2. And it has a tendancy to turn hydrophobic if left to dry out to much. I recently did a side by side grow with a couple of autos the plant on the left was in 70/30 coco/perlite the plant on the right was in the canna terra. Its a reliable medium good for starting seeds as its not to hot holds water well but as stated dont over water or underwater and keep the ph in range.
I'm going to switch to Coco on the next grow. I may be asking for advice and a little help!

Current grow is 5 autos ranging from 4weeks to 5plus weeks 4 are in canna terra professional potting mix. plant front right is in coco/perlite the canna plants have had 3 feeds starting at week 3 using canna vega little cal/mag due to very soft tap water. ec mix is usualy 0.3 calmag 0.6 vega 0.3 flores 1.2 ec total and this strenghth will most likely cause a bit of tip burn/ discolouration, but isn't really an issue. The canna terra is tricky to use with autos sometimes as when to add nutes. sometimes they can handle at 2 weeks some can go as long as 4 weeks but then its a juggle of how much grow to bloom? I usualy keep a good amount of nitrogen going in through the stretch preflower stage.

It's a good medium for clones this strawberry cheese had a good start and life in the canna didnt feed this clone till nearly week 4 so the medium has a good starting amount of N, did notice a little calcium def at this time but my tap water has an ec of 0.1 so ill always give a good starting dose of calimagic with first couple of feeds then more during start of flowering.
