Cannabiogen Sandstorm Strain

I've been looking at Cannabiogen's strain, Sandstorm and have had a very difficult time finding reviews on the strain. All I've seen so far are what the companies are saying and I tend to ignore them cause it could be complete bull shit. So my question is, has anyone tried growing this strain or perhaps smoked it? I would love to hear from anybody that has come across this strain. Heres some pics I've found. This is what drew me near it in the first place.

I just bought a sandstorm seed from the attitude pic and mix section I will make sure to do a full report on the stain after I have given it a run

Time to revive this thread, I just harvested my cannabiogen sandstorm outdoors. Purple and gorgeous, smells like lemons. I will upload some photos later.

Here are photos of the Sandstorm (Pakistan x Morocco). I grew her outdoors and my neighbor runs an auto shop in his backyard so the conditions were not as favorable as I would have liked. Dirty air hurts the plants. I got a very Moroccan growth style dominant pheno but the stone feels powerful like pakistani and comes on slowly, definite creeper. I have just begun the curing process so I will come back in a few weeks with a update after she cures. As of now she still smells lemony.IMG_3232.jpgIMG_3237.jpgIMG_3243.jpgIMG_3244.jpgIMG_3248.jpgIMG_3252.jpgIMG_3259.jpgIMG_3261.jpgIMG_3262.jpgIMG_3271.jpg

Andrew, on mobile otherwise I'd give you some rep!!!
Ya killed it, looks beautiful! Thank you as I definitely will be grabbing aome of their seeds. Kinda sad I missed purple peyote and the rosa.
On my next order will have to grab something from them.
Smoke report after cure? I'd love to hear about it!

Please do. Been eying sandstorm and there other Indica. Would like pck if it ever is restocked.
seriously, I have wanted to get my hands on some pck regs for, like, ever.
I'd been keeping my eye more on the pck than the sandstorm, but as a landrace x landrace its still appealing to me.
I really want to run the Panama, but I already have one 12+ week flower plant in my stable and I don't really know if I need more right now.
I still haven't run Ace or CBG gear, but at the moment I would say they are at the very top of the list for breeders I haven't tried.
There's probably a dozen strains between the two that I would run, I'm a huge fan of landrace preservation, and even their non landrace strains look fantastic. I have heard amazing things about Peyote Purple, which I'm sure is why it is never available; and bodhi was impressed enough with their Bangi Haze to use it in a strain and call it amazing, which is definitely a good enough recommendation for me.

I see you got Bodhi love too. Shit pretty much dumped all my RP/DNA to fill the Garden with Bodhi. None of that gear has the vigor or awesomeness that I've seen in other plants. Not knocking their gear as I enjoyed it but it's just time to move to bigger and better genetics.

Ace and CBG are the next two breeders iprobably purchase next. Also interested in 303

Interesting you find this strain potent Andrew. I had though of getting this strain or the Taskenti but heard some things about low potency and the Taskenti having Northern Lights in the genetics.

If you find this strain a keeper after the cure I will look into ordering a pack. Maple Leaf Indica is my landrace keeper so far. SAD from Sweet Seeds is not a landrace per se but is one fine indica. Has lots of landrace genetics in it and in a way is a landrace. If a strain has been around for decades and adjusts to it's environment it is a landrace by definition. An indoor strain could be said to be a landrace after long enough.

Panama Red from ACE is top notch smoke and would benefit from uvb reptile bulbs during flower. They took the landrace plants and bred them to flower in a shorter time period. Not exactly a landrace but better for us really as they are easier to grow. Sandstorm and all the rest are inbred lines not raw genetics from their original countries of origin.

I'm bummed to learn that it's not real landrace, but I enjoyed growing it as one of my first outdoor grows. I have had far more potent strains and I would assume the maple leaf indica is top notch as I have found anything with afghan is top notch. I enjoy the sandstorm because it comes on slowly and then induces sleep. I grew up in the middle east and really miss the hash and anything that comes from hashish countries is on my list. What are other landraces you recommend that are anxiety relieving? I read your thread about the maple leaf indica and would love your input on other indica/hash strains. I already have purchased real seed company Himalayan strains and various Pakistan/afghans. I also grew ACE panama but had to remove it before it finished due t spider mites and space issues.

I also did WOS Pakistan Valley and it is quite a good smoke with decent anxiety relief I guess. Mazar i Shariff was a bummer, did not like the high, think it was from Real Seeds. Agitated me not any calming at all. Afghan Kush from WOS was good.
The Pakistan Valley and Mazar threw nanners and made some seeds but not that many to ruin the harvest. These were more pure landraces imo but they came with problems from that. Took them 11 weeks to flower or there about. Pheno variation and some leafy ones in the bunch.

Not a landrace per se but an old strain, Grandaddy Purps is a good anxiety killer. I got Ken's version. Sweettooth #3 is supposed to be good anxiety meds, almost ready to harvest one, can not wait. ST is also an old strain and to me qualifies as a 'landrace'.

I have read the Afghans or people from around (middle east too?) there only smoke the hash and leave it a year to cure before smoking it. That could affect the high as well. You could make your own sift hash with a 110 screen.

I do not worry that I get pure landrace as I grow indoors and they would not be the best choice for me. I am happy to have a landrace inbred to the point it is manageable for me with no problems of hermies, wild pheno variation, long flowering times, etc.

Thanks for the info :-) I am currently growing out my last two clones of Pakistan Valley from World of Seeds and I am impressed with it. I have the sweet/chocolate/hash smelling pheno, what did yours smell like? I also grew the TNT Kush from EVA that was comparable to the Pakistan Velly except it tasted/smelled stinky cheese/chocolate/hash.
When you say they are not the best for you indoors what do you mean by that?

Can not remember what the PV smelled like been over 3 years now, maybe musky or not so sweet? Was good pot.

Indoors I have a small tent and if a plant throws nanners it can spread pollen real easy to the other plants because of tight space. Limited height of tent with lights means a stretchy plant is bad and most landraces stretch quite a bit. Pheno variation means some plants with low yields and that means lost production for a small indoor grow.

I am finishing a Humboldt Purple indica as of now and that thing stretched 3x! I had to tie them down but they hang over the edge of the pot some and that creates problems in a tight space. I consider the older Humboldt strains to be landraces now. They have been there since the 70's. Classic Seeds has many of these to choose from.

Am gonna run Dinafem Cali Hash Plant and Blue Hash next run. The Hash Plant is an old Indian strain and the BlueBerry in the Blue Hash has been around for decades. Landraces to me and both are reputed to be calming. Will see.

Sounds like some choice plants. Are you going to do a grow journal? You gotta love the calming effects of high CBD landraces and hybrids. The best feeling to me is that heavy yet comforting feeling in the chest and back that the true blueberry has. Can't go wrong with afghan and Thai (isn't that what blueberry is)?

^^ Yea, I will do a smoke report on them. I think blueberry is a very select afghan x thai as you said.

That special feeling around the chest, did not know other people got that. Hard to describe but there is a feeling around there that is very pleasurable and happens sometimes when high, but not that often.

Chakra maybe?
