CANNABIS Political Poster

hello everyone

it new for me to post my art, its usually pretty personal,
but i just wanted the cannabis community to see this project, give feed back, maybe even replocate it and spread it around.

i was asked by my college to do a political poster of my choice, so its pretty obvious what i ended up doing



the image is hand drawn, and coloured on photoshop

anyways i hate to ramble, hope you like it...

wow, I really like the poster. It's kind of reminiscent of older propaganda ads. While I do like the art, tagline at the bottom kind of comes out of left field. I realize what you're saying but it doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the theme of the poster. It's really good though.

i was going for an old 50s comic advert/ poster

and i wanted it to be an anti prohibition poster

i'll try and think of a more appropreate slogan and put it on, maybe something like

Cannabis: Its not the monster they want you to think

?

well you could use "Cannabis: the Mythical monster!" or "Cannabis: the modern day boogieman"

although if you wanted to keep the current tagline you could alter the desing(which i'm against because I like the current design) and add someone being put into a swat patty wagon by two guys in riot gear, somewhere in the background.

new version, refined and with a new slogan which i think has a better ring to it
