Ok, got my butter. question, i bought some brownie mix at grocery. it doesnt call for butter. do i substitute my butter for the veg oil in recipe???

I like the Betty crocther oatmeal cookies... uses 1lb butter-1c oil

anything that needs butter you can swap with oil..
