Please help!! This leaf comes from a Black Widow- 4' tall-4 th week flowering. In 3 gal containers, using soil. Using HPS 400
The larger leaves (fan leaves) are all developing this discoloration. The girl is flowering but it looks as if she is "extremely" slow or has basically stopped the growth of buds. Mistake to be using Osmocote! (won't do that ever again!) Have put 1/2 cup of dolomite lime in container about a week back but see no results from that!
What else could I do?
Hate to loose her after all this time!View attachment 1817782View attachment 1817784

Looks like phosphorous deficiency to me. Have you flushed your soil at all? If not I'd give it a GOOD flush with PH 7.0 water, then let it sit 3-4 days to dry on out, then reintroduce nutrients at PH 6.8-7.0 water. I'd test your soil as well to see where you stand. Soil is a buffer for PH, but if its way off(i.e. PH of 5), it will drop the PH of the water you are putting in drastically and fuck up your nutrient intake!

I have flushed but since there is osmocote throughout the soil I seem to be fighting that. I could add a bloom booster for the phorporus deficiency if you think that would help. I'm afraid to over nute her!

if you have over nuted you could have lockout. test the PPM and PH of your runoff water...see where you stand :)

my PH meter just busted yesterday and I would have to order another one since I am VERY rural and no shops here have them! Any other suggestions while I wait for another meter?

with no ph meter i would prob. flush w bottle water ( the ph should be closer to 7 than tap water )
in my opinion plants can recover from def. easier than over fert. and nut. lock out so if your not sure i would flush first.

To avoid ph problems in the future all you have to do is add some dolomite lime to your soil and you'll never worry about ph again. I would say that your under feeding them, doesn't look like lockout to me ... I had this problem recently and thought it was due to high humidity but come to find out I was going light on some new food I was trying. Up your food intake and the problem should stop. Good luck bro and hope you figure it out
