Can't get ez-clone misters to screw into PVC

Seems PVC's too hard and kills the threading on the misters and they can't grip to thread into it either. How have some of y'all overcome this? I was thinking teflon tape may help. but not sure. Also I don't really want anything permanent, so no glues and stuffs.

Try getting a small screw with a similar thread pattern and tap the hole first.

try use a drill with a bit a touch smaller and use teflon but make sure you dont leave it all messy on the end cause it will block the hole

i just pressed mine in with a pair of pliers,it doest have to be air tight the waters going to find the path of least resistance, out of the sprayer you dont even need to glue your pipe, making cleaning easy

Give it a little heat, soften the PVC, then screw it in.

Or tap it with a similar thread, Like above poster said.

All you need to do is use a #21 drill bit & a 10-32 tap it is the correct size for both holes or you can get by with a 1/8" drill bit if its all you got.
