Can’t view first picture in various posts

Any help appreciated. Often when I look at folks posted pictures, I get only a partial load of the first pic. All others seem fine. When someone posts only one pic, I can often see only the top 15% of it or so. Anyone know what’s doing on?
 
It doesn’t open a new window, just opens the image and there is an “x” top right that brings me back to the post.
 
The first photo on a post. Others are ok. But
Don’t worry. Only happens on the iPad, and I can look on the phone if I’m dying to see a picture.

My iPad Pro does the same sometimes when there is 10 HD images in a row

Yeah I think it’s likely an iPad issue

I have it sometimes too the photo thing can be finicky
If it seems weird asking specific questions it’s because I’m trying to narrow down the issue
