Carbon Fliter Idea/Help?

Hey,

I'm in the process of making a rubbermaid grow box ( 2 stacked) . I am have a tough time figuring out a DIY carbon filter plan for it. I've seen all those DIY ones using the chicken fence that form those long tubes .. however i'd prefer if it were possible to keep it short and "stealth". I plan on using an 8" honeywell desk fan as an active exhaust into a carbon filter.

Can I just build a box around the fan and seal it to the rubbermaid box and just fill it with activated carbon and surround it with some sort of breathable material like the other DIY filters?

Any ideas would be great

Yes you can just put a fan an a filter together on the box an suck the air thew it. It will slow your fans cooling so you might have to double up on em. They wont stink for awhile, but when they get big its crazy.

I seen G-13 labs sells a"poison dwarf" witch is a auto northern lights, an is suposed to have almost no smell. I would go with it in a small stealth grow.
