carbon scrubber AC unit?

is it possible to make a carbon scrubber in the exhaust tube for a portable AC?

I don't think it would be possible because most AC units exhaust moister from the air also. That moisture would destroy your filter. If it wasn't for that then I think it would absolutely work, as long as there was some duct booster used to make up for the new CFM restriction.
