I spent an entire day today setting up my cardboardbox grow room of doom!

Ive got 6 45W 6500k CFLs and 2 26W 6500k CFLs

I replaced my 2 smaller 6500k with my 42W 2700k to start flowering (9/21/11)... need to pick up more 2700k tho!!

the girls are Orange Diesel, Blue Hawgz Breath, LSD, and G13... the big potted one is the Orange Diesel its raging!

It's an awesome concept. I would have never thought to use a cardboard box, honestly. As stated above, make sure you light proof the "door". Other then that, everything seems great! Green mojo to you, sir!

I was wondering what i should do for flowering? i have 8 sockets total and only 2 36W 2700k and 2 26W 2700k.... but for my vegging i have 6 45W 6500k bulbs? would i be just fine getting 2 more of the bigger 2700k and combining them? or MUST i have to get all 2700k? kinda curious because saving about 50$ or so on not getting 4 unnecessary bulbs?

Might as well just throw all the lights in there for flower. If you could it would be better to have more 2700k, if not it will be fine. Always good to have extra clfs also :D..

Nice grow box :D I found a 54w 2700k cfl claiming to be putting out 650 Watt's of equivilant incandescent light or 8150 Lumens for 25$ Here is the link. I would HIGHLY recommend spending that 100$ on 4 of these and using your 2 36W 2700k and 2 26W 2700k or 2 of those and 6 other 2700k lights.. ? food for thought.

"If you need a converter/reducer socket, so this 2700K bulb can fit your E26/E27
Socket, we do offer them for $4.20/ea in our in our Ebay store." That's a quote from the link.

i might look into getting a small air purifer thingy as well or a small cooling unit but a/c units suck a lot of energy which = $$$

but my temps r nice right now just under 80 which is good for my area
