case fan CFM question (carbon filter)

what would be the minimum recommended CFM for a computer case fan required to efficiently move air in conjunction with a DIY carbon filter in a grow box that barely measures 9 cubic feet? (39" x 15" x 26"; 2 plants under 3x 85w CFL, passive intake). Ive heard that case fans need at least 100 CFM to operate with a filter but is that really necessary for a space this small?

Cheers.

i guess idk what a computer case fan is. there is a formula out there for min CFM (cant remember where tho lol, a lot of help i am!) but i would have to say 100 cfm would have to be plenty for such a small space. are you worried its not enough?

120mm case fan (110CFM)

the thing is at 100CFM even these fans tend to get pretty loud, I'm not so worried about airflow as much as noise (stealth grow). So basically I'm looking for the least CFM I can get away with to have proper ventilation and maintain noise control.

Run a few 30's? If your looking at computer fans make sure you buy metal blade fans then. metal blade fans run quieter then plastic blades. less air chatter. Depending on the strain you might be able to just use a odor eater gel. I keep 2 in my grow box and it helps control odor. I do also use a ozone gen. out side to kill anything that lingers. the the gels do help!
