casual 'pot' plant?

Hey guys, Ive been wanting to do a small outdoor grow in my garden for personal use, however we have a lawnmower guy that comes in every now and again so i dont want to risk it. So i figure that ill just keep them in pots on my balcony which gets a lot of sun. Im fairly experienced with gardening but not so much with pot and pot plants so i just wanna ask a few basic questions.

Ive already germinated my seeds and have them in small pots, if i were to keep them in pots and on my balcony, would they grow/yield enough for me and friends?

If so, how big would the pots need to be? i know that from indoor grows, when you switch the light cycle to 12/12 you sex the plants but with outdoor how do you tell?

also (these are awesome seeds from an awesome outdoor Ounce), is there a general rule of the yield? similar to the "half the wattage in grams"?

When i harvest, is it like pruning flowers? as in when you prune them, it stimulates the plant to grow more?

aaand when i harvest the flowers in flowering season will the plant keep growing till next season?

so far i only have 2 plants, the rest of the seeds didnt germinate (its day 4)
cheers :hump:
