I just wanted to let everyone know that cat 5 cable works awesome for lsting and general tying up tasks. You can bend it easy and it holds it shape well. The plastic coating also helps protect the plant. What I do for lst and tying is just bend a hook at one end and hook it around a branch. Works well if you can't reach a heavy branch in dense grow areas. When you need to adjust it you just rebend it closer or further.
Get the solid core stuff you can buy for making your own cable from home depot. It's usually blue and by the electrical section. Cut the cable to the length that you want and strip off the jacket. You now have 4 pairs of wire the length you cut. I leave them in pairs, too much of a pain to untwist.
If you can also get ahold of some cross connect wire the phone guys use or bell wire which is also at the orange box, they both work great also.
