I’ve made a lot of gummies using the same recipe over the years. Basically it’s 12 Oz of flavored jello, 3oz unflavored jello, 1/4 cup of honey, 1 cup of apple juice, reduced tincture, and a little flavoring. I mixed according to directions, bloomed the jello, heated and stirred for 8 minutes.
This time, they just won’t set up and gel correctly. They remain grainy and have a consistency of pudding or something. Tried freezing, etc. to no avail.
I don’t want want to throw them out as they are nicely medicated with CBD. Can anyone suggest something to stiffen them up? Or something else I could do with the jello mix?
