Is that a fem plant/s?

I checked out one of our sponsors Xmas special and went to the CBD strains. All but one or two are fem and those that aren't don't have genetics that interest me nor is the CBD content high enough for my liking. Everything is 1:1 and I want twice the CBD. I would have jumped on the CBD Chem Dawg tho if they were regular beans.

I've got three too tall CBD girls in day 4 of flowering now. An Otto#1 that is supposed to be <1% THC and up to 27% CBD. A hemp varietal specially bred to be very high CBD. Hoping for at least 15% and will try to get it lab tested. The other two are it crossed with Cannatonic and I've had the Canna to smoke and make into cocobudder. A little more buzz than I wanted but very nice for my arthritis and depression. The cross I have should be higher in CBD than the Canna an I hope to get both tested as well. I'm keeping moms of all three. Did an update last night in my meandering grow journal.

I got a half oz of CBD Critical Mass coming in next week from a compassion club I joined in Kelowna, BC. Going to turn most of it into cocobudder. Should tide me over until my plants are done.

At least Centennial Seeds is finally admitting Otto #1 is a hemp plant. I grew some Otto #1 seeds a few years back and was majorly disappointed when every single plant turned out intersexed (aka hermi).
Best of luck with your grow but don't get your hopes up for your Otto #1 plants and keep a close eye on them.

Meant to mention that I got the seeds from a buddy about 4 years ago and don't know where he got them. He never said anything about hermies and did the cross with the Cannatonic and calls it GoldFish. He also crossed the GF with Herijuana and I have some of those seeds I'll crack after I see what's up with these girls. Unfortunately I didn't get an Otto male and have no more seeds for it.

Those are regular seeds, I have a huge Hurkle male that I will use to pollinate Dinamed CBD which is 20% or more CBD and less 1% THC.
