Hi everybody.

It's been around a year and I think it's about time to start a new grow.
My last one was CBD Nordle. Pretty cool plant and all.
I was wondering if it's worth to try something like CBD Skunk Haze or CBD Shark Shock.

Have any of you had any experience with the mentioned strains?
Any info would be much appreciated.

I can see this post didn't get much love.

So I took some time and did some research myself. The top contenders would be CBD Medi Haze (aprox. CBD 2:1 THC) or CBD Skunk Haze (aprox. CBD 1:1.1 THC).
CBD Nordle seems to be weaker compared to the above and CBD Shark Shock even weaker than Nordle.
I have to decide if i need that extra THC content.
As I stated in my original post I am currently using CBD Nordle and I can say that it does not get you high (just barely sometimes). So that's nice indeed. You can enjoy smoking as much as you want.

Now I have to decide if I want to get a bit stoned or not. :D
And what would be best for my arthritis...

As for OUTDOOR FARMER yeah I could definitely recommend a high cbd strain. Here in the EU it's still pretty hard to get other than CBD Crew's seeds. And They have the most tests out. The info seems reliable. Personally I had some good and some not so good experiences with normal strains. I would get spaced out and not functional at times. Sometimes even some what "paranoid". It wasn't always pleasant for me. But with this CBD stuff you have to smoke at least double to feel it and it will still be very light. So no bad effects there.
If you still like some THC in it i think CBD Skunk Haze would be a safe bet.

I would really like to hear an opinion from someone who tried both :/
So fingers xed

I pretty much grow CBD crew's nordle and critical mass and use it mainly as a whole plant tincture. I can take a fairly large dose of Nodle and barely feel a buzz but my radiating back pain goes from shooting pains down my legs to no pain what so ever. My dad has neuropathy in his legs along with ALS and it has done wonders for him. For neurological pains and dysfunctions, I am convinced there is no better med.

CBD Critical Mass was also good, but did not perform as well as nordle. Neither one of these were any good for a buzz - for that, I combine one of the CBD strains with a high thc strain in a tincture and it works great.

Any of these strains particularly stretchy? I'd like to run a painkiller along side my others in a trellis vertical grow. Best if they all stretch lots and finish slow...

Nordle is insanely stretchy - I LST them - it's a 1:1 THC/CBD ratio at 5% and is a great pain killer for neuropathy (radiating) pains without blowing them away. Here's a shot of one of my nordles, look at how far the main cola is flat all the way to the buds in the back. Then all the others along the row start heading vertical. I like to let it get some height before the bend, to give that airspace between the ground.

He he how did i miss your replies...?

I have seen there are many good stains around. Unfortunately it's not too easy to find reputable starins here in EU other than CBD's crew.
I was and still am satisfied with Nordle. I don't think it's particularly stretchy as a plant. I did LST as well. Overall If I would grow it vertically I think it would stretch to 1-1.5m max. It is a bushy indica prevalent strain.

So... I have decided to go with CBD Medi haze this time and see what happens. This strain has supposedly the greatest content and highest ratio of CBD up to 2:1 THC.

@cbdprospector that is a very nice picture.

Btw my new Arizer vaporizer is on its way home. :)

Hehehh, it grows so much taller than Critical Mass I guess it's stretchy in comparison. I was checking out CDB Medi haze online last night, I'd like to see that would do as well. Enjoy your new vape - I have one of the original Arizer extreme towers - it works like a champ! Elbow hits are the way to go!

In about 2 weeks I will be starting 3 plants. A CDB Nordle, CDB Critical Cure, and I am undecided between CBD Medi Haze or CDB Blue Shark. I'll let everyone know how it turns out. I get panic attacks if I get too stoned from most pot, so I'm really looking forward to seeing if CDB helps my Anxiety.

Oh yeah it will!
CBD strains will not (or should not) give you panic attacks I think. Normal weed was too much for me as well but now since I smoke Nordle I can smoke it all the time and it's really hard to get stoned.
My advice would be to go with shark for the flavor (supposedly) or Medi haze for more CBD content.
I myself have bought Medi haze but have yet to put em in the ground...

You may want to look into Harlequin, it's sat-dom, doubled in size in the stretch. I got a couple of phenos that were lanky/strechy, one in between, and one short/branchy pheno. These are 4x Harlequin BX4's from BCBD, supposedly 1:1, somewhere between 7% - 12% of each. Pics are in 2Gal pots, no training (first batch), reg seeds but all turned out fems (was hoping for one male, these seeds are f'n expensive!). From what I'm seeing with a little training on the shorter/branchy phenos, these should be easy 3 zip plants in a 3 or 5Gal pot and 6 weeks veg. Very easy to grow, no defs/issues, they're about a week away now.

Thank you, that's a great breakdown. I've heard tales of Harlequin, but that's the first personal first hand experience.

Also, maybe the first time I've heard somebody complain about a 100% female to male ratio! I'm sorry about that!?! :D

lol, if there's a strain I want to keep I try and make my own seeds to pheno hunt for free later. If you've priced out seeds for any of these high CBD strains, prices seem to keep going up as demand increases. I've been batting 0 lately for males, no males from these 4, tried to get a male from 4x DIY seeds for further breeding and got another 4x fems. If I wanted all fems I would have pulled one fem/3 males ;)

Hey guy. I love this thread. I'm having the same problem with finding males, for seeding a pure genetic in for posterity.
I know it is possible to stress a FM, to produce some hermi-pollen. From my understanding when this is done it will produce all or mostly all FMs when self propagated. But because you have other FMs. FMs that are not of the same genetics, but IS the exact strain that you want, I think would produce some good gender mix. Select your best plants and do it. Good luck.

That would, I think be the best organic why of going about what you are trying to do. But I hear you could also do it chemically. That's not a route I choose to explore. Good luck.
