After a month of down time following the outdoor season I decided it was time to get some indoors going. Got 2 single feminized seeds from the Vancouver Seed Bank, and germinated some of my own seeds that the outdoor Tuna Kush produced. Not entirely sure what pollinated it - all 4 of my outdoors were feminized and all of them produced seeds. I'm guessing someone in the neighborhood had a male plant, or the one God Bud plant I killed early due to mildew grew some balls and pollinated everything. Either way the Tuna Kush is so damn good I decided to germinate 30 or so seeds and pick 2 champions. I've included a couple pics of the parent Tuna Kush plant, it was a beauty and is a great smoke.
The other two strains are:
- Northern Lights Autoflower - 90-100 days total, already showing pistils
- CBD Tiger (Compolti x Lemon Kush) - 12-14% CBD, <0.3% THC
Currently at 32 days from seed, just have them growing in a closet until they get transplanted into a 4 pot Autopot system in a 4' x 8' x 8' tent. I'll be running two Mars Hydro TS1000s and have an extra "1000W" (more like 250W) blurple light for some supplementation if needed. Using Green Planet's GP3 line of nutrients and ProMix HP, I had great results with it last year and am seeing great results again so far.
Pretty pumped for this one, I was thinking of running the lights 18/6 until the springtime and putting them outside as nicely-trained giants. The Northern Lights will finish in that time so I will have room for another outdoor strain of my choosing.
