Cenversion Bulbs

I got a 400w HPS with a MH conversion bulb.

I've been changing my light one week after 12/12 switch, results seem fine, however just wondered if anybody had a better way.

are you switching back and forth or just to the HPS for flowering. alittle ambigious there. it is best to switch right to the HPS for the 12/12 cycle.

veg with MH, then flower with HPS

and buy new bulbs after theyve had about 18 months on each. so naturally your mh, depending on your veg time, will need to be changed quicker. you wont be able to see the light dim out or anything, but believe the lumen output will drop drastically

Am going to buy Hortilux Super HPS in two weeks.
