interesting. Tbh i would of probably started over after coughing like that, sounded like the kind of coughing i experience when i try to take hits as big as i possibley can.

oh.i dont have asthma but when i get sick alot of times i'll have that problem. it drives me nuts as i just want to get high but its hard when you can only take a hit every 4 or 5 minutes. i cant imagine how much that must suck with asthma like that.

"Out smoke" doesn't mean "Out not-cough"
I can blaze all day, AND all night THEN stay up blazin till 7-8am, and that's when I'm TRYING to sleep. I bet if it was tournament style, I could go WAAAAY longer.
So I could last just as long as anyone, even though I have asthma

While I may not hold even near the same beliefs as you(I'm very science and evidence minded I guess you can say), I wanted to say happy toking!
I sometimes get made fun of because I can't hit a pipe without coughing like crazy. I got really bad lower respiratory pneumonia about 2 years back that actually damaged my lungs. I'm sure you could do this same ceremony with a vaporizer(I love my MFLB) and it might be better for your lungs.

I am science and evidence minded. It just depends if we are talking about science, and evidence.
Like I don't believe in black holes, and can present the evidence as to why, and debate the science.
But in this video I'm talking about ceremonial, mumbo jumbo. There is A science to it. Just not OUR science.
The planets, and gods, are represented on Earth by different plants, and their different properties, do different things.
For some reason, white sage smoke is known (used) to rid rooms, areas, items, people, things, of "Bad" spirits, or just "Bad".
That sucks about the pneumonia, I've never had it. Sorry about that.

Sure, yeah. I have an altar set up with a bunch of crystals that I like to smoke in front of... I sage smudge environments whenever I can't settle into said environment. Never thought to smudge an actual bowl or bag, but it's not a bad idea.
I like to throw on some good spiritual tunes, like Anugama, or some good trance-y electronica like Ott... always good to smoke to... great to have on when I'm doing caretaking on my plants too.
Rock on man! Spirit is alive, and all around us. Might as well work with it rather than deny it.

And put the Speech/Throat Chakra in the bowl EVERY time I smoke. So that it is PART of my smoke
I can't wait to get super ceremonial with it...Don't got the money for that right now though...
