Certain Weed Plant

I'm seeing more and more pictures of plants that are only 3' high at the most with just 1 BIG bud on top of the plant, and just a few flowering spots down the stem.

Do I need a certain strain for this?
of can I grow plants like this, pleeaaaseee answer me, it would be very helpful, thanks.

Certain strain, or I do assume you could force your plant to do that but it'd be skill.

That all depends on strain/lights as to a big ol center cola. If you are working with CFL's the light doesn't penetrate down very well to lower branches and you can prune them of during veg so the plant focuses all its energy on that big ol bud at the top. But definitely research different strains to see which one produces the largest cola if you are going that route.
