CFL Equivalency

So i'm starting my first grow in a few months when I move into my new apartment. It'll be no more than three plants. But while reading these threads, I see varying amounts of wattage for CFLs. The CFLs I'm planning on using amount to 92 ACTUAL watts (4 23W 6500k for veg and 4 23W 2500k for flower, maybe i'll leave two 6500k in there for flower too), but it says on the label that each is equivalent to 100W. Does this mean that I'm going to be putting 400W on my plants?

no, it means they put out as much light as a incandesent/halogen bulb that uses 100w. the incandesent equivelent watts are meaningless when it comes to growing.

What he said.

You also might want to switch one of the bulbs.
ie. Veg. 3, 6500k and 1, 2700k.
Flower - 3, 2700K ad 1 6500K.
Gives a fuller spectrum for the plants.
