Ok so I am going to have an upcoming grow journal of 4 feminized GHS Lemon Skunk plants using CFL's. But I have a few questions I need a few opinions on.
First I'll explain the set up:
These will be grown in four 5 gal buckets
Flowering nutes: Big Bud, bud Blood, Overdrive, Tarantula, micro & bloom (all from Advanced Nutrients)
Veg Nutes: Tarantula, micro & grow
6 cfl's. 4 hanging directly above plants w/ reflectors, and 2 on lamps on the floor w/o reflector in the middle of the 4 buckets. The 4 on top will be the flowering 2700-3000K and the 2 on lamps will be 5000-6500K.
Basically my questions are this: For flowering, should I use 4 of CFL #1 http://www.1000bulbs.com/85-Watt-Compact-Fluorescents/9182/ or 4 of CFL #2 http://www.1000bulbs.com/65-Watt-Compact-Fluorescents/39147/
#1 - 85W (350W equal), 3000K, 4,200lumens
#2 - 65W (200W equal), 2700K, 3,900lumens
#2 has a better temp but lower lumens/watts
#1 does not have as good a temp but higher lumens/watts
And the last question is for veg, should i use 2 of CFL #1 http://www.1000bulbs.com/105-Watt-Compact-Fluorescent/31681/ or 2 of CFL #2 http://www.1000bulbs.com/105-Watt-Compact-Fluorescent/31295/
#1 - 105W (400W equal), 6500K, 5,000lumens
#2 - 105W (420W equal), 5000K, 6,900lumens
#1 has better temp but worse lumens/ watts equal
#2 has worse temp but better lumens/watts equal
If you could tell me what 4 lights you would use for flowering production #1 or #2, and what 2 lights you would use for veg production #1 or #2 and why you would pick that, that would be awesome.
btw this roughly comes out to about 550W of CFL's, 30,600lumens, & 2,200W Incandescent equal.
Thanks
