CFL Grow Help me out please

Okay, first i live in texas san antonio it gets pretty hot and humid here but is it fine to grow in my attic? if not i got other place's. Also how many cfl's should i get per plant? I will growing bubulicious autoflower and fem'd from nirvana. Will foil be good for the plant's for reflection? I have more question's just need these answered at first thanks and have a great day or night.

Try getting 2-3 bulbs per plant in flower you would want to double.
Get mylar or some emergency blankets those are cheap.foil causes hot spots and could be harmful to your plants.

what temperature is your attic?

Attics in texas can reach over 150 F in the summer just like here in the So Cal desert area. not fit for man nor buds.

You might try to find a place that stays below 95 most days.

i would say an 8 lamp 4 foot cfl would be good for 4 mature plants you also want 6500k cfl's for vegging stage.

Thank's guy's umm the attic has the 2 a/c machine's in there and i would think there sucking air from there i can also probably put a fan in there but if not i got my room and my garage i will have the lights on when my mother's not home and put it in the garage when she is cause she never goes in there really and there all this shit bla though so yeap, here's some video's of the grow box and the attic. you can pick up packs of 5 at walmart for 6 bucks or you can pick up 4 foot 2 bulb ballasts there as well for about 15 bucks. one of my first grows i aught 3 of the 4 foot 2 bulb ballasts used 6 6500k bulbs during veg and 6 2500k during flowering i grew a total of 6 plants in that closet and they where super bushy and reached about 4 feet tall


2 6500k and 1 2500k per plant should be fine but dont expect massive nugs or anything like that

i not looking for these to get 4 feet tall ill tell you that now haha if i was living on by myself there would be nothing in my house but plant's to the roof haha, but no i want to get atleast like a ounce a plant if possible or less long ass it's atleast a dime.

I come from oklahoma and remember what the temps were like... I just subscribed just to see if you can pull this off cause attic growing down in the south will be a wee bit more than difficult good luck brother

Whts up guy com check out my page I'm subbed to a thread called tha 57$ grow cab in 10minutes I think ull find it interesting and foil is a bad idea go to your local dollar store or dollar tree go to the wrapping paper section and they have some called poly. It's good to use I use it in my homemade cab and its hella cheap u can see through it so u might have to double it up but it works.

How would something see through be a good reflective?

Dude go to wal mart get 2 pack of 5 bulb cfl,s 5 bucks a piece get a container for your plants get some soil for about 10 bucks a fertilizer you can find for cheap look for even nutrients no miracle grow crap. Use aluminum foil shinny side is the more reflective side. And there you go I used about 30 bucks in a desk grow I did a few years back grew 2 plants in my computer disk wit no more than what I mentioned. Good luck

Okay, first i don't want to even start to explain how thankful i am for all the people here helping me thanks a lot, but back to buisness i got soil it's good had my outside plant's sprouting out of soil the second day it was in it, it's not MG but my plant food is MG. I was thinking about buy 3 bulb's for the 2 plant's for this moment and when i get payed again go buy another 3, also what do you do about smell i can't buy a carbon filter im not made of money.

First of all all tha Season growers tht i have tlkd to say tht foil is one of tha worst to use, because it dosent distribute light evenly and can create hot spots on your plants and it absorbs more light than it reflects. And as far as you being able to see through it some mylar is thin enough to see through so if thts tha prblm all you have to do is double up on it and as for nutes some good nutes to use on a budget is Jack's Classic not to say tht you can't do it with MG. And Jack's is around tha same price and you get alot better results than tha MG and i'm speaking frm experience i've used both! ThaJack's website is www.jrpeters.com you can hit them up on their site they might send you some samples for free if no one around u sells their products thts wht they did for me. Tell them your growing tomatoes and ask for samples of boath grow and bloom nutes. Try you might get lucky i did.
