~CFL Lights questions..HELP!~

Yes I believe they would work for the veg as they are 3000 lumens of 6500k light. Figure you need around 3k lumens for veg per sq foot of plant tops and 5k lumens of warm white cfl (get them at home depot for about the same price). Make sure it's in a reflector of have the walls covered with mylar, panda film or flat white paint especially if with a small area. I angle my lights at about 45 degrees to expose the side of the CFL to the grow area too.
