CFL Mercury Vapor

I was looking around at home depot and I found a 175w cfl with the e40 mogul base that puts out around 12,000 lumens and they are only 20 bucks also they are self ballasting, they look just like envirolites but they say that they are comparable to mercury vapor, do you think these would work just like envirolites

hmmm.. interesting.. anyone hear of these?

they will work but if you look at the numbers you will see that if you bought the same size hps you would more than double the light
