Hello fellow Roll it upper's- this is my first ever grow, and almost all of my knowledge that i currently know on this hobby was attained on this website. With that said- Thanks for all the tips!

Okay now for the backround info that everyone likes to know with the grow:
Seeds: two bagseeds from some mids.
Lighting: 4 26 watt Cfls. (1 6500 kelvin 3 2700 kelvin)(note: it was visa versa for veg growth aka 3 6500 and 1 2700)
Grow area: mini fridge that is located in the hidden area in my crawl space.
Venting and Smell control: There is a 4.75" muffin fan that is located on the front door of the fridge that brings in fresh air. Sitting on top of the fridge is a 6" inline duct fan that is pulling hot air out of the fridge. Carbon filter is sitting on the floor next to the fridge, and is connected to the 6" inline duct fan with an insulated duct hose (note carbon filter is not yet hooked up b/c the plants are only 1 week into flowering at this point)
Soil: Pursell's Sta-Green Professional Seed Starter Potting Mix (NPK is .13-.04-.09)
Nutes: No nutes during veg growth because it only lasted for 14 days. Flowering nutes are Fox Farm Tiger Bloom and Indonesian Bat Guano.
Watering schedule: Plants get their water every other night @ midnight when the lights come on. Im giving them half dosage nutes and adding them every other watering. I plan on flushing them when their @ week 3 and at @ week six of flowering to avoid buildup in salts etc.

So- now that you have some background knowledge of what i'm working with, you guys and gals will be able to give more accurate advice. Please don't comment or post saying shit about how cfl's suck balls and soil is bull and negative things of that nature- i would rather everyone give constructive criticism or comments that are appropriate to this grow. And please don't hijack this thread- Thanks!

SO- i will get more pics of the Ventilation up soon. In the mean time here are some more pics of the plants at week 1 of flowering. One of the plants has tips that are bending downward toward the ground?? my temps are a little warm- mid 80's during peak of 12/12 but they get back down to 70 when their asleep. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, i don't know if it is something serious i should be extremely concerned with but if you have advice i would love to hear it.

SO here is a picture of the 6" inline duct fan that is on top of the fridge. I took the plastic top off of the fridge so that i could use a can of Foam Insulator that does a great job keeping the heat into the fridge (this leads be to believe it will help keep the smell in as well). The foam is the yellow weird looking stuff on the top of the fridge for anyone who doesn't follow what im saying. The T thing that is hooked up to the inline fan is only there for now, i have not decided if i will use my big carbon filter that was $100 or if i will use my own homemade carbon filter and attach one carbon filter to each side of the T thing. Also- there is an adaptor hooked up to the T thing that converts one of the ends from 6" to 4". Let me know what you think. :leaf:

Flowering: Day 7 Here are some pictures of the plants at exactly one week into flowering (21 days old total). The fan leaves smell amazing when you rub them a little. Still hoping their girls :leaf:
LOL DUDE +rep for growing in folgers cans, i've done that so many times.;-)

Flowering: Day 9 Here are pictures of the plants. They look like they are thriving on the tiger bloom. I have not given them any of the Indonesian Bat Guano yet, but i plan on doing that on day 14 of flowering. There are no signs of the sex yet:wall: but the plants look healthy. The lowest set of leaves on each plant are slowly turning yellow and proceeding to die off (very slowly) but i believe this is a result of the fact that i didn't check the pH for the first 2 weeks of watering (my bad). Turns out the pH was around 7.5 which is high so this may have contributed to those lowest leaves dying off. Right now i'm keeping the pH right around 6.5:leaf:

Flowering: Day 10 Here are pictures of the plants at day 10 of flowering. I would like to announce the arrival of pre-flowers on the bigger of the two plants. I am still a noob so i am not 100% sure that they are indeed pre-flowers, but after doing much research im 90% sure that they are. Guess it's time to name her:leaf:

Flowering: Day 11 Pictures from day 11 of flowering. The plants are getting the slightest hint of chronic smell to them. I think im still a week or two away from the carbon filter. I hope im right cause i still live with the rents haha. Anyways before going any further i wanna note that the taller of the two plants (officially named Alana) vegged for 14 days before flowering. The smaller of the two plants (which has not yet been named due to not knowing the sex) only vegged for 10 days before i flowered it. The reason the veg cycle was so short is because i was limited with height and i was afraid they would end up outgrowing the fridge. Right now it looks like i could have vegged them for a longer amount of time without having any height issues but i will save all of these notes and ideas for the next grow:leaf:

Looks good and I'm not the most experienced but from what I've read on here I've got 2 suggestions. First of all I read that tin foil (i assume thats tin foil lining the fridge) is bad, it transfers heat randomly and there is hot spots that will burn the plant... also an idea for next time is you should try the LST technique... tying the plant down and around your folgers can so that its more spread out and more 'colas' without it growing very high.

Sorry if what I said isn't completely right I am pretty new, but I've been reading a lot and thats what I found. Good luck man! You've got a lot of nice pictures and frequent updates... subscribed for sure!

Thanks for the input. I read a ton about lst-ing and i was very interested in trying this method, but i was really afraid because it's my first grow and i wanted to get a good sense of basic growing before i tried any Lst-ing, super cropping, fim-ing, or topping. I think on my next grow i will either lst them or use Uncle Ben's topping method to get 4 top colas. As to the tin-foil: it is actually reflective tape that i got at my local hydroponic store that looks and reflects like tin foil, but is made out of a much much thinner material then tin foil. The material on the wall's of the fridge is known as "Panda" or "Poly" and is said to be 85% reflective. It was really hard to cut pieces of Poly that fit well on to the wall's of the fridge because of the sides of the wall's being oddly shaped and not smooth. The guys at the hydro store said there wouldn't be any hotspots caused by the reflective tape or the Poly but i didn't do any additional research to see if this was correct information.

You still have time to do some light lst'ing bro.

Just be careful.

:leaf:
I don't know if lst-ing will be necessary for this grow though because of the height of the plants. Their only like 8-12" tall and i have 3 feet of height to work with in the fridge. Would lst-ing produce more buds on this grow? I thought it was used to produce more buds when vertical height is an issue and the plant cannot be grown normally.

So does anyone have any idea's about how much i should water each plant when i do give them it? I have been giving them 8oz. of water each. All of the soil gets moist but there is no runoff. Should i be giving them more water each time? How much should a plant of this size get with every watering? It's not a life or death question right now, but i am leaving friday afternoon to visit my girlfriend for the weekend. Their last watering will be Friday morning around 11 am. I wont be home to water them until Monday morning at 11 am which is 3 full days in between waterings. My fridge gets pretty warm and i don't know if going 3 days without water is a great idea, but does anyone think they will suffer? Should i give them double the water on Friday morning? Any input would be greatly appreciated.:leaf:

Also: does anyone have any idea when these will really start to smell? they only smell if you rub the leaves right now. I'm just making sure that in between friday morning and monday morning they don't have a "stink explosion" where the go from 1 to 10 on the smell scale.

i am coming up to 3 weeks veg with my wonderwomen and already my room smells very planty/skunky i can only assume come flowering itll get really bad!! but every strain is different. D.I.Y. carbon filter will work or a purchased one or some ona odor blocker. you have many options

Flowering: Day 12 Here are some new pictures of the plants. Alana is now 26 days old and is looking good. The other plant is 22 days old and is smaller but is also looking nice and green. No smell coming from them yet, which is a good thing because i'm heading out of town for a few days on Friday, and i don't have the carbon filter hooked up yet. :leaf:

So- Im leaving in the morning for 72 hours. I usually give each plant 8oz. water (250ml) every 48 hours. Should i give them 300ml or 350ml since im going away for three days? Will this hurt the plants? please help only if you have actually dealt with a situation like this. Keep in mind my grow box gets hot when the lights are on (85F). Thanks in advance to anyone who suggests something before my 12 noon deadline tomorrow morning!:leaf:

Flowering: Day 13 Upon opening my fridge, the first thing i noticed was that Alana has a set of leaves that are curling inwards and are turing yellow? The tip of that leaf is burnt idk what that is about but im rattled. The plants look great otherwise. These will be the last pictures until i get back monday morning, but now im worried about the yellowing leaves. I wonder if its a nute deficiency?? It does not look like nute burn, nor is it located anywhere else on either of the plants. Please leave suggestions if you have any. I cannot decide if tomorrow mornings watering will be water only, or a nute mix. Maybe i should start to look toward the Indonesian Bat Guano for added nutrients. So frustrating.
