CFL placemnet help

I know you guys are probably sick of my questions, but when im done growingI plan on writing a complete noob guide to growing. Even for the most clueless of noobs.


But anyway, how close should i put my soft white cfl light to my newly planted seeds?

I have mine about 1-3" away
