cfl vs hps

i have a question..which one is better for flowering 250 hps or 8 42w= to 150w cfl 2700k at 2700 lumens per bulb total of 21600 lumens
i am curently growing on a homemade bubbleponic system or dwc

HPS is best but CFLs will work with enough of them

My friend when you deal with clf's you cannot stack lumens. All 8 of those bulbs will still be emitting a lumen intensity of 2700. The 250 Watt HPS is putting out 26,000 - 29,000 Lumens. If you can go with the hps.

id like to hear some more opinions.. ive heard people say the get the same yields off of cfl's then hps

You can grow enough weed to get by for your own personal stash or you and a friend with CFL's, You can always smoke everyone out if the same area had a 250hps instead. Many times the yield.

Either will work but if you can use hps.


The only reason not too might be being afraid to be caught with all the oz's it can grow.
