CFL Wattage Question-help quick

okay so i recently bought four 100 watt cfl bulbs. On the little white piece that screws into the socket it says 100w= 23w incandescent. So basicially my question is what number do i go by? are my bulbs 100w or 23w?

yes the 26 watt cfl are equal to 100 w incadecent ,, they will or should say daylight on the pack ,,, a light blue pack , try to read on teh back of teh pack what spectrum they are ,, should say 2700k ,, or 6500K ,,, when u get home plug it in ,, if it has is the same color as a regular house light ( yellowish tint) that is the 2700k range ,, if it is white ( pure white ) thats 6500k range ,, u want the daylight 6500K 26watt GE helical cfl's for vegg & 2700k for flower ,,
