Hey there, this is my second grow , last was about 10 years ago. I grew some bagseeds in the dirt, in a closet, w 2 4ft t 12. it was good and produced a little over an ounce.
Now I want to up the ante and grow much kinder bud. i can afford the seeds now. I have a bigger closet now. so here's my story. I started 3 bagseed plants in a DWC hydro system on 9/20. I was unable to get the temp in the tanks below 81 degrees, and the plants were suffering. the 3 older bagweed plants were burning up. I only added about 1/4 the recommend dose. they got burned overnight. just today I moved all the plants out of the hydro and into pots with soil. I think I feel more comfortable working with soil instead of managing a DWC.

View attachment 1199949View attachment 1199948View attachment 1199950 3 of the 4 White Russians. I need Russian hot chick names to put on these to identify, any suggestions?
Natasha, Alexandra and Katya?

I have never grow dwc, but does that discoloration mean the nutes are too strong? or was it the water temps. Some people love dwc and some people love soil. It's like ford and chevy i guess.

The babies look good. I have a couple babies in my closet cab grow... one looks great and the other is deformed. Check out the link in my sig if you want to see my grow journal. I sub to you. Interested to see if the transplant from dwc to soil adjust well enough. do you have pictures of the transplanted plants?

I think it was a mix of both. couldn't get the water below 81 degrees. roots were starting to turn brown. I added a diluted (1/8th strength) botanicare aquaguard and it burned em overnight. so i got fed up and put em in dirt. happy lil plants now. more pics to come soon. how do you subscribe to others grow journals?

all the plants in the dirt were transplanted yesterday. so far they are responding well. growth has continued with the WR. the burned plants are relaxing, and the Afghani seedlings are opening up to the light again. all is going well. will be adding new pics soon.

Nice CFL grow, like what you did w/roasting pans as fixtures. I have a small 4ft x 4ft x9 ft closet grow w/larger spiral CFLs, but I have also 6 26 watt CFLs I need to make a perminate mounting fixtures on my closets back walls. This way light can hit all portions of my plants
