cfl?

hi I was wondering if anyone can tell me about how many lumens you should have to grow 4- 5 medium sized plants under cfl's. right now I have about 12800 going with 8 26 watt bulbs. I was actually trying to find some 42 watt bulbs or 68 but cant seem to find any.

While I am at it can anyone give me ideas for ventilation. I am growing in 2 rubbermaid 20 gallon totes and am kind of stumped(not very creative). I have been reading about alot of people useing cpu fans but dont understand how to make it work.

I have 10 CFLs in my rubbermaid box at the moment, 6 26watt and 4 42 watters. I plan on adding another 6 or so bulbs as they get bigger.

For ventilation I bought a bathroom fan for 15 bucks, cut a hole in the top of my box and laid the fan on it....then i plugged it in. cut a couple holes near the bottom for intake. pretty simple. A pc fan is the same principle you will just need to cut the right sized hole so the fan sits flush with the box and sucks air out. It ain't rocket science.
