About to start on my 2nd grow and only need new lighting... I was thinking of getting a duel sysem. 200 MH for veg and 250 HPS for flower.. during both stages using about 6-8 cfls changing daylight 6500k and warm white 2700k cfls as needed. im planning on doing 4 plants and dont want the electric bills to high along with heat...... any suggestions appreciated greatly.

I am in the same boat. I was doing a search of old posts for the CFL v. HPS v. tube flouro comparison someone did a while back and came across your post. I seem to remember that thread had a good discussion of when to use CFLs v. HPS and how much to use. Anyone remember what thread I am talking about? I need to bookmark it! I think it would help answer your questions too.
