I need help on three diffrent things for my closet grow

2. When did u guys start using your grow big from fox farm? my plants in its 1st week, to soon?

3.Ive seen a couple diff sites where it says its a must to use a co2 for a closet grow. any alternatives and is co2 necessary?

Thanks In Advance For the Help

Co2 isnt necessary if your just doing a few plants, just you opening the door and being around the plants should give them adequate co2. But if you want, an easy way to introduce co2 to your grow room is by making a co2 maker cheap and easy. you just need a bottle, sugar, yeast, and water. The yeast consuming the sugar produces alcohol, and the process of fermenting into alcohol releases co2 into the air.

1. with CLFs the rule of thumb is the more the better. but... you should have at least 5000 lumes...a plant can live on the 1000 you have so maybe just add another light whenevr u can afford it.

2. most plants dont need nutes for the first 2-4 weeks. it depends on the soil and the strain. when u do start feeding those FF nutes do so at .50 strenth. FF is stronge stuff an usually burns baby plant at a full dose. So slowly work up to full power.

3. no you dont NEED co2..thank god yo. its expencive and its a pain in the ass. jus make sure you have a good exaust and intake sys in place

Very key, I myself learned the hard way with this. just wait a while

1. depends on the size of the plant. you could grow an average sized plant with 3-4x 75W CFLs. Flowering might call for a bit more light, and 3500K color.
2. I never have. You should start giving high N fert. once the plant starts to turn to a pale green color rather than how it started.
3. CO2 is necessary if you run a closed room as plant can use up all the CO2 available and then stop growing. You could use the CO2 from outside your closet by using a vent and pulling air from outside into your closet. the air from outside has enough CO2 for proper development.
Once you really tune up your space you could consider CO2 enrichment but its one of the last things you get into your grow and its expensive - the system itself cost quite a bit and if you max your space with lights you'll most likely would have to run an AC.
Yeast and sugar, baking powder and vinegar etc. doesn't really work in a grow space as they either give too little CO2 to do anything or they are way too inconsistent.
There's some fungi growing bag you can put in your grow room that emits CO2 as the fungi grow but I doubt its efficiency.
If you run air venting its stupid to run CO2 - it would simply go out of the room.
