Change light cycle yet?

I was wanting to now, that with the space I have, should I go ahead and change my light cycle yet for veg? I started from seed 08/01/2011, right now it stands about 14", about 1' away from the light and the stem is the size is a little bit bigger then a "AA" battery.

your plants going to jump in size during flower man, change it over now to be safe especially if you can move your light any higher id be scared if it was that close and not in flower yet, not to alarm you or any thing you should just make it i would lst the top a bit a throw her into flower.

I think you should switch it now if you don't have a bigger space, In flowering it's gonna double even triple in size so try to picture it like that. btw mine were started 8/03 in soil. I'm definitely trying DWC next time lol.

It's most likely goimg to outgrow its space. You can always supercrop if necessary.

Would I know by now if this was a male plant?

Not necessarily. There's a chance of pre flower, signs of sex during vegetation. But if not you'll simply have to switch it to 12/12 give it a week or 2 at most and you'll know. Balls are boys, Hairs are girls.
I switched mine to 12/12 already and one is already showing hair (Pistils) now I'm waiting for the other.
